No. All 72 teeth are rounded and flex under pressure, and the vibration stays low even on Wake-Up. The red light produces no meaningful heat — if anything, people find it too gentle at first and press harder than they need to.
Dry or towel-dried. This is a rechargeable electrical device and we do not rate it for the shower, so keep it away from running water and do not submerge it. The dust cover is for storage, not waterproofing. Dry hair is better anyway — the teeth move through the roots more easily, and serum from the chamber goes further.
The relaxation is immediate — that is the part you feel on night one. How your scalp feels day to day, less tight and less itchy, is usually the thing people report after a few weeks of consistent use. This is a cosmetic massage device, not a treatment for hair loss, and we are not going to tell you it will regrow hair. If that is what you are after, talk to a dermatologist.
Colour-treated hair, yes — nothing here strips or fades colour. With extensions, wefts or bonds, go slowly and work around the attachment points rather than over them; the bristles can catch. If you have a sensitive scalp condition or take a photosensitising medication, check with your doctor first.
